Terms and Conditions

1. General responsibilities

• Vendors shall adhere to all event rules and regulations as stipulated by the organizers.

• Vendors must maintain cleanliness, order, and safety within their stall area at all times.

• Vendors are responsible for the conduct and management of their staff

• Vendors understand that the event organizers are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during the festival.

2. Stall Operations

• Vendors shall provide their own electrical lighting supply. Any additional electrical connections required will be subject to extra payment.

• Vendors must provide their own waste bins and ensure that these are emptied regularly into the skip provided on the premises.

• Vendors undertake to sell only the items listed on their completed application form. Any unlisted items found will be confiscated, and the vendor will be removed from the premises immediately and blacklisted from future events.

• A maximum of four (4) persons are permitted per stall.

3.Pricing and sales

• The festival reserves the right to stipulate prices for items sold to ensure fair pricing practices across all vendors.

• Vendors must comply with any pricing adjustments communicated by the organizers.

4. Compliance and Permits

• Food vendors must hold valid licenses to sell food and possess a health department permit. Permit numbers must be provided in the application form.

• Vendors must comply with all applicable health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

5. Waste Management and Post-Festival Obligations

• Vendors must ensure that all equipment and waste material in their stall area are cleared and removed at the end of the festival on 25 April 2026.

• Failure to comply will result in a fine, and the vendor shall be blacklisted from participating in future events.

6. Enforcement and penalties

• Non-compliance with any of the above terms will result in immediate removal from the premises.

• Confiscated items will not be returned.

• Blacklisted vendors will be prohibited from participating in future MAKOTI FESTIVAL events.
